Oh the weather outside is frightful...

Brrrr.

It has been freeeezing today!!!

Luckily I didn't have to venture too far out today and when I did I wore my new Topshop Oxblood Faux Fur Collar Swing Coat.

I actually purchased the coat off eBay, where I buy most of my clothes as there are so many bargains to be had! It was from the A/W '10 collection, I scoured high and low for it and finally settled on a buy it now for sale at £45.00.

Topshop have re-released the same design this season in a different colour way, as it sold so well last year.

Faux Fur Collar Swing Coat

You can buy this coat here:

As far as I could tell upon inspection of it in the Derby branch, the coat is exactly the same, they have even used the same buttons.

At £85.00 it is £4.00 cheaper than it's predecessor, which previously sold at £89.00.

I love how the coat has such a vintage feel about it, it reminds me of the girl in the old fashioned coca-cola adverts on the TV. In fact, I have a thing about red coats in general. They really take me back in time and feel so luxurious and classic.

This little beaut is next on my list....

TOPSHOP Premium Swing Velvet Bow Coat

You can buy it here:

At £98.00 it's not cheap, but it's so charming, I think I have to have it. I love the velvet peter pan collar and bow detail, nailing all winter trends on the head in one beautiful sweep.

I think I'd better try my luck on eBay before committing myself to purchase...

I'll keep you posted on my findings :-)

An introduction to Coco :-)

Hello! Welcome to my blog, as this is my first post I thought it best to introduce myself and my beloved Coco. I'm Kate, I'm 25, I live in Derby with my boyfriend and I love fashion, make-up, celebs and dogs

This is me...

Not the best photo I'm afraid but this is me without make-up. As I will be posting about make-up looks at least you know what I am going to be working with! lol.

This is Coco :-)

She is a long haired Chihuahua and I rescued her from the RSPCA February 2010. She is a cheeky little madam who always gets her way and is spoilt rotten!!!

I don't normally dress her up but I found this cute little hat last Christmas time and couldn't resist popping it on her little peanut head! As you can see she is not very impressed so I haven't tried out any new outfits on her since!

I'm  a massive Topshop fan so I'll be showcasing my *wish list*, and I love make-up, especially trying out new looks so keep your eyes peeled for some up-coming posts I'm planning for different make-up looks and tips.

That's pretty much what I'll be blogging about in a nutshell!
